NHS Family Festival, Saturday 17th August

Please see the attached invitation to an event on Saturday 17th August at Parklands Community Centre in Oakley. The event is called 'Improving Health, Celebrating Culture' and is a health education event which will have a festival line up of tabletop speakers and organisations across 8 stations to have informal conversations about a variety of health topics including: cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, child health, dementia and more.

There will also be free food, arts and crafts for children and a screening of a film about the arrival and settlement of the first Muslim family in Gloucester.

The event's theme is community contribution and integration. People do not have to be registered with one of the surgeries to attend.
